What is Thermal Imaging?
Thermal imaging is a type of testing that will detect electrical faults before the components fail, meaning you can take immediate action before anything goes wrong. We use a non-invasive tool so that your equipment is not damaged in the process.

What are Fixed Electrical Inspections?
Fixed electrical wiring deteriorates over time, meaning that you need to test it regularly to make sure everything is up to standard, conforming with current regulations. An inspection will check over your wiring and provide you with an Electrical installation condition report (EICR).
Why do I need a Fixed Electrical Inspection?
The Electricity at Work Regulations act 1989 states that wiring in the place of business must be checked regularly to keep everyone safe – therefore it is imperative to comply with this regulation.

What is PAT testing?
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT testing) is a necessary test carried out by a Portable Appliance Testing specialist in order to check all portable electricals involved in a business setting are safe to use. The test consists of a formal visual inspection and a combined inspection and test which requires the usage of specialist portable appliance testing equipment. The equipment will aid the test, and usage will include testing the earth continuity, lead polarity and insulation resistance of the appliances. PAT testing prices can vary, and you should only use a fully qualified PAT tester.
Why do you need a PAT test?
PAT tests are requirements for businesses whatever the size to ensure all portable appliances are safe and up to standards - by having your appliances PAT tested you are ensuring your employees and premises stay safe, and that your business conforms to the Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974, Electricity at Work Regulations of 1989, Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations of 1998 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations of 1999 acts. Essentially: if you’re a business owner, having your items PAT tested is a requirement that helps keep everyone safe at work, and you should make sure your PAT testing frequency is in line with the recommended guidelines.
